We are committed to providing high-quality information retrieval services, staffed by information professionals utilizing current technology. We are able to give customers immediate access to international platforms when, where and in the format they desire. We aim at preserving the heritage of RAF Alconbury in the form of localized collection development and exhibits, while welcoming all ages to a variety of family friendly events, running throughout the year.

SERVICES

The library has free Wi-Fi, several PCs for in-house use; scanning and printing capabilities, and 3D printer services. We also have DVD players, flip cameras, netbooks and kindles for loan.

Full access to our databases is via daf.dodmwrlibraries.org , which includes Overdrive e-books, Ancestory.com, Fold3, Tutor.com, Universal Class, Mango Language and EBSCO Host as well as a variety of others.

The library offers an extensive programming package; regular children’s programming as well as annual events such as our heritage walks, 1940s day, and ghost tours, as well as summer and winter reading challenges and events throughout the year.
